Living Room Rugs

Living room rugs for Indian homes

The living room is where a rug does the most work — anchoring your furniture, defining the space and setting the whole room’s tone. Every living room rug here is hand-tufted in India from premium New Zealand wool, in geometric, abstract and modern designs sized to anchor a real seating arrangement, with custom sizes for your exact room.

Getting the size right

Your rug should sit under at least the front legs of your sofa and chairs — this visually ties the arrangement into one zone. For most Indian living rooms that means an 8×10 ft rug; larger, open-plan rooms suit 9×12 ft. Our size guide and living-room styling guide break it down.

Choosing a design

• Geometric for structure and a confident, contemporary edge — see our geometric rugs.
• Abstract & swirl for movement and a soft, artful focal point — browse abstract rugs.
• Warm neutrals hide everyday dust between cleans and pair with wooden furniture and colourful textiles.

Why hand-tufted wool?

Living rooms take the most foot traffic, so the rug’s construction matters most here. Hand-tufted New Zealand wool feels substantial underfoot, lies flat without curling, resists everyday soil and holds its shape for years.
