DESCRIPTION
Mistral Garden Oushak Rug
A quiet garden in wool. The Mistral Garden rug sets rows of slender cypress trees, flowering vases and tiny rust blossoms on a soft grey-blue field, framed by a warm rust border and fine gold guard bands. The palette is calm enough for everyday rooms, with just enough terracotta to bring warmth.
Hand-knotted, knot by knot
Our artisans tie every knot by hand on a vertical loom, then wash and shear the rug to bring out its soft, slightly antique sheen. Because the design is knotted through the foundation, the pattern shows on the back too, a mark of a genuine hand-knotted rug.

Lay it under a sofa and coffee table in a living room, or beneath a dining table where the garden pattern can be seen from every chair. It pairs well with oak floors, linen upholstery and brass or black metal accents.

Vacuum regularly on a low-suction setting without a beater bar. Blot spills immediately with a clean, dry cloth — never rub. For deep cleaning, professional rug cleaning is recommended every 12–18 months. Avoid prolonged direct sunlight to prevent fading. Rotate the rug every 6–12 months for even wear.

The treatment remains effective for 2–3 years under normal household use. It can be refreshed by a professional rug cleaner whenever needed.
It repels most water-based spills and gives you more time to blot before staining. Oil-based spills and deeply pigmented liquids should still be cleaned promptly to avoid marks.
